Quirkus

As I posted previously, Debbie and I took off for Indiana June 4th.  We flew into Chicago and had lunch with our friends Natalie and Becca.

Then we made our way to Portage, IN to enjoy some time with Debbie’s parents Gene & Gayle, sister Angela, uncle Josh, now-brother-in-law Todd, and grandfather Eugene.  The wedding wasn’t until Saturday, but the rehearsal dinner/ceremony was Friday night.  A lot of people showed up for the rehearsal dinner… we had the festivites at Debbie’s parents house.

The food was great, there were plenty of drinks, and of course there were pictures being taken like crazy.

Unfortunately I didn’t remember my camera on the drive to the wedding the next day, but I’m sure the photographers got MORE than enough pics of all the day’s goings on.

We drove down to Ft. Wayne, IN and met my folks.  Had a great lunch at Don Pablo’s with both sets of parents then high tailed it outta Dodge and had a much needed dinner at Scotty’s in Castleton, IN.  We don’t have them out in AZ and have been deprived for 6 months.  Wonderful night with Ma and Pa Quirk then lunch on Monday with our friends Scott, Chelsea, and Koney.  Boarded a plane and came back to about 30 flies in the house.  Apparently they sprouted over night, but from where we still have no idea.
